File requirements and templates
To guarantee uncompromising photo-realistic quality, every graphic at Orange Express is printed on a latest-generation eco-solvent Roland ER-642 printer. Our workflow is automated, so it is essential that your files meet the following technical standards:
1. Supported file formats
- PDF (recommended): saved as PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4. This format goes through our RIP software fastest and without issues.
- TIFF: single layer only (flattened) and always with LZW compression, so files don't get unnecessarily heavy.
- EPS / JPG: JPG files must be saved at maximum quality (Quality: 12 / Maximum).
2. Color mode
- All files must be in CMYK.
- Our system converts RGB or Pantone colors automatically, which may cause unwanted shifts in tone. Please convert them beforehand.
3. Resolution (DPI)
- We require a resolution between 150 and 300 DPI at actual size (1:1 scale).
- Roll-up banners are large-format products viewed from at least a metre away, so 150 DPI gives a crystal-clear image while keeping your file light and quick to upload.
4. Fonts and text
All fonts must be converted to outlines / curves before export. Don't rely on embedded fonts – if a font is missing on our side, the text will be replaced automatically.
5. Transparency and layers (flattening)
- All layers must be merged (flatten image).
- All complex vector effects, drop shadows, gradients and transparencies must be rasterized. This eliminates the risk of "disappearing" or incorrectly printed elements.

Frequently asked questions
How fast will my roll-up banner be ready?
If your file is approved by 2:00 PM on a working day, the banner is ready for pick-up from our office the same day by 6:00 PM. With courier delivery it is shipped the same day and arrives on the next working day. If approved after 2:00 PM, we print with priority, but pick-up or shipping is on the next working day.
What sizes and materials do you offer?
Three stand models – Strong, Strong Plus and Premium – in sizes from 80×200 to 150×200 cm. We print on 440 g coated vinyl or on PET banner film with a grey back. The price is calculated instantly and includes VAT.
Which file formats do you accept?
PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, CDR, SVG, TIFF, JPG, PNG, as well as ZIP/RAR – up to 100 MB per file. The file should be in CMYK, 150–300 DPI, with fonts converted to curves and no layers. If something is wrong, we will contact you before printing.
My designer will send the file – how does that work?
When ordering, choose to have the files uploaded by your partner – we send them a secure link and they upload the files directly. You can also give us a download link (WeTransfer, Google Drive, etc.).
How can I pay?
By card online via myPOS – the order starts immediately. Or by bank transfer – you receive the bank details right away by email and in the tracker, and production starts once the payment arrives or you send us the payment order. We can also issue a pro-forma invoice.
How can I track my order?
Right after ordering you get a personal Live Tracker link – there you can follow the file check, printing and readiness live, and once the banner is in print, the estimated ready time. You can also get an email on every status change.
Where can I pick up my order and how much is delivery?
Pick-up from our office is free – 20 Slavovitsa St., shop 4, Gotse Delchev, Sofia, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Courier delivery is calculated automatically based on the weight of the stands.
Do you issue invoices?
Yes. Tick “I need an invoice” when ordering and fill in your company details. All prices include VAT.
Can I cancel or return my order?
An order can be cancelled free of charge until the file check has started (status “Order received” or “Waiting for the designer’s file”). Banners are printed from your own file, so under Art. 57(3) of the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act they cannot be returned. In case of a manufacturing defect, email us at sales@orangexpo.bg within 3 working days and we will remake it at our expense.
